Please follow the aftercare method explained to you on the day, as I use two different wrapping methods depending on the tattoo: pads or Second Skin (adhesive film).
If you’re ever unsure about anything during healing, message me immediately—no question is too small.
Your tattoo will be wrapped with a pad to absorb excess plasma and protect the area.
You’ll be provided with extra pads and cleaning products to take home.
Before bed, remove the pad and take a warm shower.
Gently clean the tattoo using the provided soap.
Allow the tattoo to air-dry completely.
Apply a very thin layer of cream—just enough to stop the pad from sticking.
Re-wrap with a fresh pad, secured firmly so it doesn’t move or rub.
Repeat the following twice a day:
Remove the pad
Shower
Clean the tattoo
Air-dry fully
Apply a thin layer of cream
Re-wrap with a new pad (tight enough to stay in place without friction)
Stop using pads unless instructed otherwise.
Begin light moisturising once or twice daily for the next 10–14 days.
Avoid friction, heavy sweating, soaking, or anything that may irritate the area while the skin settles.
Avoid soaking, swimming, heavy sweating, and sun exposure during healing.
Do not scratch, rub, or pick at peeling skin.
Wear clean, loose clothing to reduce friction and irritation.
Important Notes
Healing varies from person to person—this is normal.
Do not use products that haven’t been recommended.
If anything feels off, looks unusual, or you’re unsure about healing at any point, contact me immediately so I can advise you properly.
Keep the first layer of Second Skin on for a full 24 hours.
Avoid long showers, sweating, or activities that could loosen the film.
After 24 hours, gently peel the film off under warm running water.
Remove slowly to minimise irritation.
Clean the tattoo thoroughly.
Apply a fresh layer of Second Skin.
Keep this second layer on for 2 more days, without removing it.
Wash the tattoo gently with lukewarm water and fragrance-free soap.
Rinse well and allow it to air-dry completely.
Then, for the next couple of weeks, apply a thin layer of recommended cream once or twice daily.
Keep the tattoo lightly hydrated—never greasy.
Avoid soaking, swimming, heavy sweating, and sun exposure during healing.
Do not scratch, rub, or pick at peeling skin.
Wear clean, loose clothing to reduce friction and irritation.
