ABOUT ME

I’m Nero Prenta — a tattoo artist based in Manchester, specialising in geometric, ornamental, and pattern-based tattoos.

My work is built around clarity, balance, and flow. Strong foundations. Clean lines. Designs that read instantly and stay powerful long after the tattoo has healed.

MY BACKGROUND

Tattooing has been part of my world for as long as I can remember.

One of the earliest moments that stayed with me was watching a Jackie Chan film as a kid and seeing full Yakuza body suits for the first time. The scale, the structure, the impact — it stuck. That feeling never really left.

Before tattooing, I grew up immersed in graffiti. I started painting at around ten years old, completely self-taught. Working on the streets taught me discipline, repetition, and how to build something that holds presence from a distance. It shaped the way I see form, rhythm, and negative space — things that still sit at the core of my tattoo work today.

Over time, that visual language naturally evolved into tattooing.

STUDIO & LOCATION

I’m currently based in Manchester, working from North of Winter Studio — a private, appointment-only studio focused on considered, custom tattoo work.

The space allows me to work calmly and with full attention on each project, without the rush or noise of a walk-in environment. It’s set up for longer sessions, detailed planning, and tattoos that need time to be done properly.

By booking, you agree to the following terms: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment and will be taken off the final price. Deposits can be moved up to two times with at least 48h notice. Further changes will forfeit the deposit and require a new one. Cash is preferred on the day. Designs are shown on the day. Minor edits are fine, but major changes may require a new appointment and loss of deposit. You must be 18+ and bring valid photo ID. No ID = no tattoo = loss of deposit. Please arrive on time. Arrivals over 30 minutes late without notice, no-shows, or same-day cancellations will lose the deposit. You must be healthy and sober. I may refuse service if it’s unsafe to proceed. By proceeding, you accept these terms.
